My Tech Stack

My Tech Stack  has focused around cross-disciplinary strategic development, campaigns, graphics, copy, AI, content, tools, systems, relationship building, data analytics, process creation and optimization, goal tracking, and managing teams.  These are but some of the skills I rely on when launching marketing, business development from thought to profit.

Daily Drivers

Foundational Platforms

Google WorkSpace

Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, I use just about everyday. I’m trying to move more natively into Notion Integration.

Notion

I’m a Notion Solutions Architect and Power User. Notion is like Knowledge Mangement meets JIRA meets AI – Notion and integrates with Loom, Google WorkSpace and so on. It’s cost-effective, lean, and has powerful AI tools built right in. I’ve been a user since 1.0. I build deep digital workspaces (entire digital universes) in Notion.

Miro

A Digital WhiteBoard – Spatial Computing Environment. I love using it in VR as well.

WordPress

The ability to quickly create, publish and distribute pixels THAT YOU OWN and control – is paramount in my line of work. WordPress offers open source software that allows you to do that and that powers about 35% – 40% of the web depending on the day you ask. I have been a user since 1.0.

Fathom Analytics

Focused, Private, Easy to Use and Understand Web Analytics. It is faster to deploy than Google’s obfuscating hulk of bubble-inflating shit, and cookie-free, AI coping mechanism that is Google Analytics 4.

Fluid - VR Spatial Computing

Fluid is a great spatial computing app for productivity and exploring your persistent digital universe in 3d space. IN VR mode I love it. It does things that Meta does not do natively on their VR headsets.

Fluid

Focused, collaborative, synchronous and asynchronous communications. If Notion comes out with chat however, I’d drop Slack, despite a long history and many integrations.

Coms

Loom

Loom is an essential asynchronous coms and screen recording tool. I’m a power user. I appreciate the AI summaries, auto-editing, um-eliminating, and it integrates well with Notion. Huge productivity tool when you work on projects across the country like I do.

Zoom

Zoom is an essential, I’m a power user. I appreciate the AI summaries, but wish they had more personalization options.

Slack

Focused, collaborative, synchronous and asynchronous communications. If Notion comes out with chat however, I’d drop Slack, despite a long history and many integrations.

Telegram

Secure- Chat – The only true end-to-end encrypted chat that I have not heard has been compromised or backdoored.

Email

Email is the digital fax machine, and hands-down the best way to have communications get lost in the noise. Managing projects, programs and efforts from your email inbox, is a sure-fire symptom of lost productivity.

AI

ChatGPT

Creating Custom GPTs, complex agents via API, Projects, advanced prompt-chains, etc. The new normal

Claude

Claude is leading the way in terms of refined approach. I don’t agree with their “safety” team’s approach to censorship and limited access to information, as we’ve seen where that road leads, so I don’t use Claude as often as I do other tools.

Grok

Grok leans more on the ability to be disliked. It’s great. Up to date in real-time – doesn’t gate-keep reality the way other AI players do. I look forward to its continued evolution.

Crew.AI

The leading, open-source, Multi-agent and team based systems-  super important to understand and explore complex AI deployments with cutting edge models.

Perplexity

Perplexity is attacking the search and research space. I don’t think it’s long for this world however, as Google is responding to it, and it tries to create proprietary formatting to keep you referring to it as a knowledge management tool by restricting you from getting your research out of the system.

Ollama

Helpful tool for getting up and running with local LLMs.

Regularly Used

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

If you get paid by the hour – use Google Analytics 4. It’s overly complex, cumbersome, and obnoxious to use.

Microsoft Clarity

Heatmaps and more user journey information in a more intuitive UI. And it’s faster-to-deploy properly than GA4.

Bing WebMaster Tools

If you get paid by the hour – use Google Analytics 4. It’s overly complex, cumbersome, and obnoxious to use.

Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, and Acrobat

Firefly might be the coolest thing that Adobe makes and is what Photoshop should be – yet Adobe is greedy and AI generation in PS is trash. Again these are tools of necessity from time to time in media production or editing a PDF.

AirTable

AirTable aims at the enterprise and is a more numbers and BI focused knowledge management system. It has great integrations, but ultimately, I believe it will succumb to Notion, as Notion is laying siege to the space and offering a more scalable solution.

Microsoft Office

As a former IT consultant, and power user, I’m not impressed. I use it when forced by a situation. Speed of collaboration and integration of Google Docs and Workspace smokes Microsoft. And NOBODY likes Teams.

HubSpot

I’m not the biggest fan. The feature set of the platform often lags behind competitors in individual categories, plus the model is of course designed for you never to leave.

Process Automation

I’ve halted skill dev here given the rise of MCP, and rapid evolution of AI tools. I believe AI will take this space over largely.

Zapier

Process automation duct tape. As AI continues to evolve I’m wary for these tools especially as MCP standards gain traction.

Automate.io

Yet another process automation tool – works well with Notion.

Make

Process automation duct tape with a slighty better UI. As AI continues to evolve I’m wary for these tools especially as MCP standards gain traction.

AI

Napkin

Good for infographics, diagrams, and presentations.

Synthesia

AI Avatar leader.

Gamma

Good for presentations.

Flux

Editing images and media with FreePik

DALL-E 3

Images and Media

OpusClip

Video Clipping Awesomeness

Vistasocial

Social Media Scheduling Tool- with AI wrapper (ChatGPT). Solid though.

Notebook LM

The research AI and podcasting tool is the best part.

InVideo

Video creation with stock video components

DeScript

Video creation and AI video Editing

Meta AI

Works great with the Quest 3 headset. They make some solid open source models as well.

Heavy: Special Media & Dev Projects

Cursor

App development – living proof that the application layer can differenitate itself from LLM under the hood – and is a defensible platform business.

Lovable

App development

Bolt

App development

HuggingFace

This is quickly becoming a platform of AI platform builders.  Great place to try new AI tools.

Bubble

App development

Suno

AI generated music

Jasper

Good for content generation once upon a time – I don’t use it much anymore.

Rytr

AI writing assistant – great for polished content.

RunWay

Images and Media

ElevenLabs

Audio generation and chat leaders.

MidJourney

Images and Media

RunWay

CoPilot

But Why Though? Compatibility with Microsoft.

Gemini

Perfect when you want to rewrite history or add a deeply rooted woke, culturally marxist tone to your work.
